Great bar with a nice vibe. We were here mid afternoon in November and it was busy but we were able to get a seat. It has a real fire as well.
Café Kafka is ideal if you’re looking for an authentic, offbeat Vienna Kaffeehaus experience—whether you’re reading, working, or soaking in local culture. It’s casual, artsy, and not for those seeking polished service or smoke-free luxury. Think cherished, somewhat grungy, and full of character. Go for a laid-back morning coffee or a late-night chat by the fireplace
The best cafe I’ve ever been to!! The coffee is one of the best I’ve ever had, the people who work there are the kindest and the looks and mood of the cafe are lovely! If you go to Vienna this cafe is definitely something you have to visit!
The staff were kind and the Sachertorte and Apfelstrudel were also very delicious. The ambient is really unique and alternative. The only weak points were that my Capuccino was a little bit cold and they took a little much too time to handle us the menu. But overall it was a good experience, I would visit it again.
Adorable little cafe to honour Franz Kafka Great coffee, atmosphere and their chimichurri saurkraut & cheese toastie was amazing
The staff was really gentle and friendly. I went there to try the “sachertorte”, it was really good! We were 6, and we fitted perfectly even though there were already many people. I had a great time also thanks to the atmosphere, it kinda reminded me the German vibe of Berlin. the place is located near many shops, and is easily connected to the Centre with transportation; it takes about 10 mins.
